Identity boxes have the option of utilizing both the exterior and the interior of the box to symbolize the outer and inner self. In this lesson, students will capture their appearances on the exterior of the box, and symbols of their inner identities in the interior of the box.
One way of learning about one's identities is to learn what he or she is willing to stand for. What values and beliefs are important? In this lesson, students are asked to look beyond themselves to the world around them and create a poster about a social issue.
